Update…

We’re counting down the days now until our little one arrives!  I want to thank all my wonderful clients who I’ve been able to work with this summer and fall!  Thank you for your patience and understanding as time has gotten closer and closer to my due date!

At this time, I’m no longer booking sessions until after the baby arrives and we are good and settled.  I’m hoping to be back in the swing of scheduling things around mid to late November but it will all depend on how the little miss and I are doing.  If you need something for Christmas, don’t hesitate to give me a call.  As long as orders are placed by the 2nd week of December, they should be back in time for Christmas!

Stay tuned in the next couple weeks for another update and hopefully some great pics of the little one!

Pregnancy update…

Well, I’ve gotten behind on adding my sneak peaks here but as always, you can view recent sessions on the main site at jenarmstrongdesigns.com.

I am now 34 weeks.  This pregnancy has had its ups and downs with worries and concerns but at this point, all is well and we can’t wait for the arrival of our precious baby girl in early November.

Her big brothers are excited as well!  We have started getting things ready for her arrival and they are enjoying it right along with us!  Look for baby pictures to come once she makes her entrance into the world :)

Thank you to all my clients who have continued to schedule and support me!  I know things are moving a little slower these days since I am moving a little slower but I appreciate your patience and continued support!  It means the world to me and my family :)

It’s a …

Girl!

Just wanted to post a quick update to let you all know that we are expecting our first little girl in November.  We have two boys, Noah & Caleb, and are very excited to add a little girl to our family.  We plan to name her Olivia Grace!

The pregnancy is going much better than in the early weeks.  I was very queasy and sick early on but I’m 19 weeks now and that is a slightly distant memory now.  We’re just praying that everything continues to go well and that our little girl will grow and develop as she needs to while we await her arrival!

Update from Jen…

Lots of new things are happening!

First, a new studio location!  The new studio offers a larger indoor working space as well as a large outdoor area for natural outdoor options I didn’t have downtown.  The new location isn’t advertised, however, if you have questions or need directions, feel free to call me or email me.  I think this will be a good move, not only for me, but for all my clients as well.  I will be able to offer much more than before.  On location sessions are still available as well.  I know the younger generation really likes the downtown funk that Statesville has to offer so of course we’ll still put those alleys and window seals to good use!

Second, my family is expanding!  We are expecting our third child in November.  I know, I know – right in the middle of the busy season.  With the expectant arrival of this little guy/gal, I will have to shift some time around.  Depending on how things go towards the end, it’s highly possible that I may work right up until the day of his/her arrival, however, I cannot guarantee that.  I will most likely not schedule anything after mid-October.  If you want to get your holiday pictures in with me this year, please schedule those sessions as early as possible because with the limit on time, my days may fill up quickly.  I plan to return to work as soon as possible afterwards – working when sessions are scheduled at the studio and working from home other times.  If you have questions, shout them my way!

Third, I had several nominations come in for the Senior Rep. Program.  I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get a wider range of schools.  There will be a Rep. from Statesville Christian School and one from North Iredell High School.  It’s not too late to still get in on the offer.  If you happen to know someone who will be a senior next year and they attend a local high school other than one of the ones mentioned above, feel free to go ahead and nominate them for the Senior Rep. program.  Hopefully as the years go by, this will grow and more people will be aware of this wonderful opportunity for Seniors!

Last but not least, I’ve added a few things to the main site, but still need to update a few things as well.  I’ve gotten behind on the blog, mostly due to morning sickness.  Luckily, the worst seems to be behind me at this point so hopefully the months to come will continue to be productive!  I look foward to working with all my wonderful clients throughout the year.  Spring has sprung and summer is right around the corner.  Stay tuned for some specials that may arise!
