A Little About Me…
First & foremost, I am a wife & mother! My husband and I have two sons and a daughter. They are the highlight of every day!
Aside from family, my life revolves around cameras, computers and creativity! I have always enjoyed different forms of art like drawing and painting. With an educational background in Art and advances in technology, I found myself really drawn to Digital Art. What began as a hobby fiddling with photos of my kids, soon turned into a passion, a dream, a career!
My Style…
My photography style involves natural settings which portray the everyday lives we live. I strongly believe that capturing our lives in all the wonderful moments and even the not so wonderful moments, creates more realistic memories and treasures for years to come. I offer relaxed sessions in the comfort of your own home or on location in some of the most beautiful natural areas that North Carolina has to offer!
The Studio…
Most of my photography is done on location but I also offer studio sessions at our studio location off Jane Sowers Rd. in Statesville. Studio sessions offer a number of props, and a comfortable setting. Studio hours are by appointment only. What is NILMDTS?
Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep gently provides a helping hand and a healing heart. For families overcome by grief and pain, the idea of photographing their baby may not immediately occur to them. Offering gentle and beautiful photography services in a compassionate and sensitive manner is the heart of this organization. The soft, gentle heirloom photographs of these beautiful babies are an important part of the healing process. They allow families to honor and cherish their babies, and share the spirits of their lives.

The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS) administers a network of more than 5,000 volunteer photographers in the United States and nineteen International countries. At a family’s request, a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer will come to your hospital or hospice location and conduct a sensitive and private portrait session. The portraits are then professionally retouched and presented to the families on an archival DVD or CD that can be used to print portraits of their cherished baby.
Our entire network of affiliated professional photographers graciously donate their time and talents to our families and we are proud to be able to offer our services at no cost.
NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO SLEEP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds go directly into the operation of this organization to help parents who are experiencing an early infant loss.
