Class of 2010…

Do you know a 2010 graduate?  If so, now’s the time to give them something special!

I am looking for 2010 senior reps for the 09/10 school year.  I will choose one senior from each local high school.  The winners will receive a complementary senior package including:

2 – 8×10’s, 4 – 5×7’s, 24 – wallets ($157 value)

In addition to the package, each senior rep will also receive referral cards to hand out to friends.  For each referral card I get back from a new client (referral cards must be given to me at the time of session) the senior rep will be given a $10 credit on future prints.

To nominate a senior for the 2009/2010 school year, please email me via the contact page on my main site – www.jenarmstrongdesigns.com – with your nomination including their name, age, school, a contact number for the senior and one where you can be reached and a description of the senior and why you think they should be chosen as a 2010 Senior Rep. for Jen Armstrong Photography & Designs.

Nominations must be submitted by March 31, 2009.  2010 Senior Reps. will be announced in April ‘09!

An update and a thank you!

First of all, thank you to all my wonderful clients from 2008!  Without your support, my photography business and skills would not be growing as they are.  I have enjoyed getting to know you all and look forward to seeing you guys in the 2009 year!

Pricing Changes:
I am planning lots of things for 2009.  There will most likely be some pricing changes to include a select few package deals but nothing major.

Senior Reps:
I am also planning to implement a senior program in which one senior for each local high school will be chosen to be the senior rep for that year.  This will become an annual thing.  Folks will be able to nominate seniors from the local high schools and then one from each school will be chosen.  The senior will qualify for one senior session at no cost, and the senior print package also at no cost.  My plan with this is to help someone else while also spreading my name.  If you would like to nominate a senior for the 2009/2010 Senior Class, please contact me :)

Shadow Program:
I’m still in the thinking on this one but I would like to offer some sort of shadow program to the local high schools in their career development programs.  If this works out, I will be available for questions, lessons, etc. related to photography and my business for individuals who sign up for my shadow program through their high school.  Again, this one is still just a thought at this point but if you have questions or suggestions, feel free to let me know!

For major holidays when bookings are tight and shipping is slow, it’s best to schedule as early as possible.  For example, with Christmas, if you’re planning to give pictures as gifts and want to ensure they arrive in plenty of time, it’s best to book your session as early as October and no later than Mid-Nov.   These months fill up quickly!

Upcoming Event…

Friday, December 5th – 4pm to 9pm
Downtown Statesville Open House

Please come out and support your local businesses during the Downtown Statesville Open House.  Most downtown businesses will remain open after normal hours until 9pm for Christmas shopping and festivities.  This is a great time to come out with your family for fun and entertainment but be sure to stop by the local businesses and support them while you shop for Christmas!
